TWW: Day 4 and Day 5

Day 4:
Yesterday was 4 days post IUI. I didn't have a chance to blog because we spent the day at Sesame Place...We were only there for a few hours, but it was exhausting.

It was too hot to wait in the lines to meet the Sesame characters and to ride the dry rides. We spent most of our time in the Count's Splash Castle. It had a pool, a 1,000-gallon tipping bucket, multiple water slides, bridges, water guns, jets, steering water wheels and much more. Avery absolutely loved it! We also checked out the toddler section of the park, but it wasn't nearly as fun.

Here are some pictures of Avery in the water:

Day 5:
Today we met Avery's Aunt "Zazi" for brunch at Panera Bread. It was awesome to sit down and catch up. The broccoli cheddar soup was an added bonus.

Avery fell asleep in the car on the way home. I tried to transfer her to her crib, but she wasn't having it. So...Meg and I decided to take her to the Bucks County Children's Museum.

She had a lot of fun running around and watching the big kids. She played in the post office and store, dressed up as a police officer, used tools in the dino dig, made music with pipes, raced a lego car, manipulated the pieces of the giant lite brite, and explored port holes in the tree house. Her favorite part was definitely the slide.

It's been a busy couple of days...so busy that Avery passed out at 6 pm tonight.

On a different note, today was the first time I thought that this IUI might have worked. I had a flashback to the spilled milk incident when we got pregnant with Avery.

Meg freaked out about the bathroom outlet being "broken" this morning (she couldn't get her straightener to turn on!) She has also been super sensitive and quick to snap. Overall, I'd summarize her behavior as irrational.

Similar to last time, she's convinced that it didn't work.

I don't know. I'm trying not to get my hopes up. The easiest way for me to rationalize her outbursts would be stress, but time will tell.

(We tested positive with Avery on Day 10. The spilled milk incident occurred on Day 4)

    1. Thanks! Doing something each day has definitely helped to keep our minds from over thinking everything. Avery is the best distraction!

She slept for 12.5 hours last night!
